The YSI probes are placed in an 8" diameter PVC pipe  mounted under the pier.  One of the PVC pipes will have flotation to keep the probe near the surface.  The other will be mounted near the bottom.

Roger McGill was master of installation.

The YSI probes are connected to a Campbell Scientific datalogger and telemetry radio, which are located in a standard CS enclosure.  The antenna is mounted inconspicuously under the pier.  A solar panel may be placed on the roof of the pier, but currently a rechargeable battery in located inside the box.

The white box is placed inside a 3/16" steel box. The box is bolted to the pier using 7/16 lag bolts.  The box has sheltered locks to reduce vandalism. The wires to the probes and the solar panel are inside 2" steel conduit.
