Vegetable Horticulture Program - Dr. Monica Ozores-Hampton

Dr. Monica Ozores-Hampton, Assisstant Professor

 Monica has statewide responsibility for vegetable production and is located at the Southwest Florida Research and Education Center in Immokalee, FL. Her program focuses on nutrient use efficiency and fertilization practices to facilitate the adoption of nutrient best management practices by the vegetable industry. Monica also does vegetable variety testing for diseases such as Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus. She annually teaches a workshop in compost utilization in horticultural crops at the US Composting Council as well in Spanish speaking countries
